The Traxxas Ford Fiesta ST Rally begins with a low-CG chassis that’s unlike anything you’ve seen before. Hard core performance requires a chassis that won’t flex under load for arrow-straight, hard-charging acceleration. To offer the required rigidity, smoothly integrated ribs form a triangulated structure that’s optimized for the loads imparted by the suspension and powertrain. Underneath, the chassis is ultra-smooth to reduce drag and prevent snags driving through brush.
Low Center of Gravity
A low center of gravity (low-CG) chassis provides the Traxxas Ford Fiesta ST Rally with the ultimate handling experience. The race-tuned ride height pairs with high-performance Ultra ShocksTM to tackle rough terrain. On the track, the low-CG chassis lowers lap times and makes the car easier to control at the limit. The car feels planted and secure at speed to deliver the authentic handling and realism that makes rally racing such incredible fun.
Perfect Weight Bias
Each component on the chassis was carefully positioned for optimal weight distribution and space utilization. The result is perfect weight bias for neutral handling precision. The bulk of the mass is distributed down the centerline of the chassis for smooth, stable cornering.
Old designs made servicing of 4-wheel drive vehicles cumbersome and time-consuming. Traxxas has a better way. The Traxxas Ford Fiesta ST Rally features a modular design that allows the entire front section to be removed with just 5-screws, and the rear assembly with just 4-screws. High Approach Angle Bumper
Traxxas Ford Fiesta ST Rally’s smooth under tray reduces snags while the high approach angle front bumper allows the vehicle to clear driveways and expansion joints without raising the overall height of the vehicle or the Fiesta’s low center of gravity.
Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks

The high-volume body yields large oil capacity, and a silicone bladder separates oil from air within the shock for consistent damping action, even during all-day off-road sessions. XL-5 Waterproof Electronic Speed Control
Designed and engineered by Traxxas, the Ford Fiesta ST Rally Car’s XL-5 Electronic Speed Control handles the elements while smoothly supplying power to the motor. The XL-5 features a completely waterproof design, three drive profiles, low voltage detection, Thermal Shutdown Protection, 4-7 cell NiMH and 2-cell LiPo compatibility, and built-in BEC. High frequency operation combined with ultra-low resistance make the XL-5 an efficient and ultra-smooth fully proportional speed control. An exclusive feature on the XL-5 is the patented Training Mode. This profile reduces the overall power output of the XL-5 by 50% making it easier for young or new drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing full-power operation.
Titan 12-Turn 550 Modified Motor
The Traxxas Ford Fiesta ST Rally includes a powerful Titan 12T 550 modified motor with an internal cooling fan. The Titan’s over-sized armature and 12-turns of pure copper wire provide big torque and increased power-handling capabilities. The integrated cooling fan lowers running temperatures for increased run times and more fun behind the wheel. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and pumps out consistent torque run after run without fading. Beyond the specs, the Titan 12T kicks out dirt-roosting torque, lightning-quick acceleration, big-air jumps, and just about any other 4-wheel fun that demands real horsepower.
Precise 2.4GHz Control
With the Traxxas Ford Fiesta ST Rally’s TQ 2.4GHz radio system, you just switch on and drive. There are no channels or frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. The TQ’s ergonomic design is comfortable for all-day driving, and its sleek lines are enhanced by an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.

Three Channel Micro Receiver
A three channel Traxxas micro receiver gives you additional room to grow! The 3-channel micro receiver features two steering servo ports, eliminating the need for a Y-harness.
Waterproof Steering Servo
Rally racing requires a powerful steering servo for responsive performance. The Traxxas 2056 high-torque steering servo comes standard for precision control, quick response, and unmatched torque—all in a waterproof case.
Race-proven in the 7-time National Champion Revo, Ford Fiesta ST Rally’s differentials represent the state of the art in power handling and efficiency. Precision silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow the diffs to be tuned for specific running conditions by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside them. Differential access for tuning is quick and easy. Just remove the front or rear cover and the entire differential slides right out.
Rally’s telescoping, universal-joint driveshafts have evolved for even greater strength and articulation. The U-joint driveshafts allow for maximum suspension movement and drivetrain efficiency, resulting in longer travel, tighter turning, and full power delivery. Extra material and fine-tuned design greatly increase torque handling.
High-Stall Gear Clutch
Another Traxxas exclusive, the Rally’s high-stall clutch protects the driveline in high RPM situations. When moving from dirt to pavement or launching off a jump, the high-stall clutch absorbs the initial shock to keep the gears safe and the fun going.
The Rally’s low-CG chassis allows the massive Velineon VXL-3s brushless power system to drop right in with minimal modifications. Overkill? Perhaps, but we can’t resist going 60+mph. We don’t think you’ll resist either, so the drivetrain is built to handle the horsepower and speed.
The Traxxas Rally’s ultra-plush suspension swallows up jumps and delivers incredible off-road control. All that suspension travel gives Rally authentic looks and handling response that accurately simulates rally racing, whether you’re in the dirt or on the road. The computer modeled front axle carrier allows maximum articulation without binding or interference. Tight steering response is always there, even at the extreme ranges of the suspension travel. Double-shear tie rods and camber links won’t pop off, so you always stay in control. Robust construction resists crash damage, and oversized 10x15mm inboard bearings and 5x11mm outboard bearings are incredibly durable and smooth.
Integrated Servo Saver
No part of the Rally was overlooked in the quest for durability, precision, and performance. The dual-bellcrank design maintains optimum steering geometry and an integrated cam-type servo saver protects the servo gears from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.
Progressive rate springs are lighter through the initial range of travel to maintain traction and composure over the usual track ruts and bumps. Hit the big jumps and the springs tighten up to prevent bottoming the chassis at the extreme ranges of the suspension travel.

The tire’s unique directional tread pattern is captured in high-grip rubber for the ultimate bite on or off the pavement.
