Team Associated SC10.3 Short Course Trucks

Team Associated SC10.3 Team Associated just announced the “new” SC10.3 ready to run RC short course lineup. The SC10.3 retains all of the features of the previously released SC10 RS with a new body paint scheme designed to mimic the full scale JRT truck driven by Doug Mittag. Mittag has been racing professionally since he was 14. He has worked his way up from UTVs, to a Pro Lite, a Pro-2 and now a Pro-4. In 2015, Doug won a Pro Lite Championship. He has since captured several podiums in his Pro-2, including a win, in his Rookie Year. Doug and the Jhonlin Race Team (JRT) are already making waves in the 2017 season! Along with the SC10.3 Doug Mittag JRT truck, Team Associated also unveiled a truck as well. Renezeder is a 9-time national short-course off-road champion, and has been earning the moniker of “living legend” since he first hit the track in his original Pro-2 truck in 1999. It didn’t take long for Carl to start winning races that quickly added up to 121 wins in his Pro-4 and Pro-2 trucks in just 18 seasons! Both versions of the SC10.3 come pre-assembled and ready to run with a Reedy electronic speed control, Reedy 3300kv brushless motor, a high torque steering servo and a 2.4Ghz radio system.

Come on AE you can do better than this! You keep releasing the same trucks over and over without any actual updates. I absolutely love my SC10 but this is just lazy. At least give the truck a better set of shocks, some new tires (i despise the original SC10 tires on this truck) and a new body design. You also have a huge warehouse of factory team parts you could have added to this. This is just the original SC10 with a brushless system in it, the same exact brushless system used in the SC10RS. Throw us a bone already!!!!

The SC10.3 is a huge disappointment. Am i right or wrong? Here is hoping the SC10.4 gets a few actual updates or upgrades.
