RPM Castle Sidewinder 3 and Sidewinder SCT ESC Cage

RPM Castle Sidewinder 3 and Sidewinder SCT ESC CageFirst introduced for the Traxxas VXL-3SC, RPM Products announces the new Cage ESC Mount for the Castle Creations Sidewinder 3 and Sidewinder SCT electronic speed controls. The RPM ESC Cage is designed to simplify ESC installation and vehicle maintenance. No more struggling with double sided tape, just two screws hold the entire RPM Cage and ESC assembly to the chassis allowing you to remove the ESC to clean your RC car or to swap electronics to another vehicle.

The RPM Castle Sidewinder 3 and Sidewinder SCT ESC Cage is designed to be a direct fit for the Traxxas Slash 2wd, Slash 2wd LCG, Slash 4×4, Slash 4×4 LCG, Stampede 4×4, and Traxxas Rally. The RPM Cage can also be used in the Traxxas Rustler, Stampede 2wd and Bandit with the Traxxas #3725 mounting plate.

The RPM Cage allows the ESC to be run with or without a fan. It encases the ESC body only, leaving the entire ESC fan free to do its job. Also, RPM left air channels along the sides of the ESC to allow air movement along the sides of the case, helping to keep the ESC cool.

Also included with the RPM Sidewinder ESC Cage is a separate encased on/off switch mount that bolts directly to the cage in one of four locations for extreme versatility. Since the switch attaches to the cage, no extra time is needed to remove it during maintenance or if you decide to swap the ESC between vehicles.

Each RPM ESC Cage is manufactured from RPM’s ridiculously tough blend of engineering grade nylons for a lifetime of worry-free performance. Each ESC Cage is molded in blue or black and backed by the RPM limited lifetime warranty against breakage.
