Novak Electronics or Novak RC of Irvine, California was a manufacturer of electronic RC products including electronic speed controls, brushed and brushless motors, battery chargers, battery dischargers, power supplies, pinion gears, receivers, transmitter modules, and miscellaneous electronics accessories. The company was founded when electronics engineer Bob Novak began manufacturing servos for pylon airplane racers in 1978. Novak later transitioned to building electronic speed controllers for radio controlled cars. In January 2014, Bob Novak split company ownership between himself, his two daughters Linda and Laura, and long time employee, Engineering Director, Adnan Khan. The company also changed its name to Novak RC. In June 2016, Novak Electronics announced that it was going out of business after 38 years in the RC hobby.
