Traxxas Robby Gordon Dakar Rally Truck In The Works?

Robby Gordon Dakar Rally Traxxas SlashRecently Speed Energy Drink released these photos of what looks to be a Traxxas Slash with a replica of Robby Gordon’s 2012 Dakar Rally race truck body.¬†Gordon and navigator, Johnny Campbell, took the full size truck to a 5th place finish at Dakar 2012 only to be disqualified in the months following for an illegal modification to the air intake system. Does Traxxas have plans to put this body or possibly a Traxxas Slash with this body into production? At the moment they’re keeping tight lipped so only time will tell. Stay tuned!
