Tamiya Mercedes SLS AMG GT3

Tamiya Mercedes SLS AMG GT3Tamiya recently announced the latest new body to be fitted to their TA06 and TT01 touring car chassis, the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3. The SLS AMG GT3 is a racing machine based on the production SLS AMG road car which debuted in 2009. Its long-nose and bobtail body design featured unique gull wing style doors and a powerful front mounted 6.2 liter V8 engine. While most people will never get to own the real thing, Tamiya has made it available in 1/10 scale form for the RC hobbyist. The Tamiya version features the race livery of Petronas Syntium Racing Team which raced the car in the 2012 Japan Super Taikyu endurance series. Tamiya TRF417WX V5 Announced!

Tamiya TRF417WX V5Tamiya recently announced the newest addition to their championship winning touring car lineup, the TRF417WX V5! Based on the TRF417X, the WX features a number of new upgrades including redesigned 2mm thick carbon fiber upper and 2.5mm carbon fiber lower chassis decks with refined shapes to provide optimal flex. Allowing even further chassis flex is a new one-piece aluminum servo mount which utilizes a single mounting point.
