If you weren’t one of the lucky people who had the chance to attend RCX last week then the next best thing might be to check out the highlight videos some of the R/C manufacturers have released in the last few days. Take Pro-Line for example, today they released the video you see above showcasing the hot new products they unveiled at the show. Included in that list is the Chevy Camaro body we reported about a few days back, a new high performance transmission for the 2WD Traxxas Slash and Stampede R/C trucks, and a new rally body for your favorite short course truck. Check out the video of the new ProLine products above.
Team Associated was at this years RCX show with their latest creation, the SC10GT, which is the nitro powered version of the highly popular SC10 short course truck. Check out the video above as RCCA editor Kevin Hetmanski takes a look at the new truck with Team Associated’s Richard Saxton.
The guys over at RCCA had the chance to check out a new body in the works by Traxxas. This special 30th Anniversary Traxxas Grave Digger prototype not only features red LED lights in the headlights of the body, but also a set of LEDs in eyes of the skulls on the sides of the body too.
LiveRC and Ryan Maifield teamed up to get some unique footage at this year’s NEO race in England! This footage was captured by mounting a RePlay XD camera to Ryan’s Team Associated RC8.2 buggy during the “Dash for Cash” race. The result: footage from a pro driver’s car in an actual race from a perspective never before seen! The RePlayXD is small enough to be mounted externally to an R/C car without being as invasive and clunky as other cameras. We simply taped the camera mount to the passenger side window!
Here is a video of Project FJ40. It includes the Tamiya Land Cruiser 40 hitting everything from trails in the woods, to piles of sand, and of course rock crawling. Keep an eye out at the end for our in truck view!!! Update: It looks like YouTube has garbled the hell out of our video. Sorry!
