Meet the new Traxxas NOS Deegan 38 Rally Car!
The Traxxas Bigfoot monster trucks combine next-generation Bigfoot design with the proven fun and durability of the Stampede platform. Bigfoot puts the dirt-chewing power down thanks to the torque of the Titan 12-Turn modified motor. A massive 4-inches of ground clearance provides tons of room for driving over curbs, roots, and your buddies cars. Ultra-Shocks and an independent front and rear suspension provide confident handling and the ability to tackle bumps and jumps with ease. The reliable, waterproof electronics provide worry-free running from the dustiest of arenas to wet conditions in the backyard. Even when there’s water, mud, or snow, Bigfoot can keep the driving fun going all day long. So, grab the throttle and experience legendary monster truck fun!
Last month we posted our time lapse build video of the Tamiya Bullhead we recently picked up. You’d never know it by looking at this video, but this is the same truck. Since the first video, our Bullhead has gone through quite a conversion. Check out the action video above and then read the rest of the details on this truck here.
It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of the Tamiya Clod Buster, and its sibling, the Tamiya Bullhead. I have personally owned four of these wonderful RC monster trucks, not including the Clodzilla II we built back in the day, which my brother still owns to this very day. Being the first hobby grade RC car I ever built, the Tamiya Bullhead garners a ton of nostalgic feelings in me. That is why when I heard that Tamiya was going to re-release this awesome truck, I knew I had to have one. Unfortunately, when the Bullhead was finally re-released, prices were sky high. Sadly, they were just too expensive for my blood. Then, earlier this year, I noticed that the prices were finally coming down, and when I saw one for a great price, I jumped on it. The time lapse video posted above documents the build.
Less than three months after unveiling the 1989 Ford F-250 body, JConcepts releases a sneak peek video of the upcoming 1993 Ford F-250 monster truck body! It features that authentic ’90s monster truck styling with an included windshield visor and racerback. Like the ’89 version, the ’93 F-250 body is designed to fit the Tamiya Clod Buster, as well as Axial axle based RC monster trucks. There is no official word on when the body will be available for sale, or pricing, but we expect to see more in the coming weeks. The only question is, where is that sweet JConcepts Clod Buster Servo mount and steering linkages? Stay tuned! Read more…
