RPM Zoomies Mock RC Exhaust Headers

RPM Zoomies Mock RC Exhaust Headers Chrome Black
RPM RC Products unveils their new Zoomies Mock RC Car Exhaust Headers! What are “Zoomies”, you might be asking? It’s a term dating back to the 1970’s that describes four upturned exhaust pipes or headers on each side of the car. You may be most familiar with them from Nitro Funny Cars, Top Fuel and Monster Trucks. Zoomies typically represent the biggest, baddest motors on the planet! If your ride is sporting Zoomies, there’s no question you’ve got horsepower! Now your favorite 1/18 to 1/10 scale RC car or truck can sport a set of custom Zoomies exhaust headers. The RPM version is highly versatile, allowing you to set it up in numerous ways. Do you want them straight up from under the car? No problem. How about tilted backwards? We have you covered! They can even be installed in a through-the-body option in either upwards or downwards options for even more versatility. They’re being offered in black or chrome. Read more…

RPM Team Associated B6/B6D Flat Front A-Arms

RPM Team Associated B6/B6D Flat Front A-Arms
RPM RC Products unveils the new Flat Front A-Arms for the Team Associated B6 and B6D RC buggies! You can’t go fast if your suspension settings don’t stay locked in. With stock A-arms, the amount of slop at the hinge-pins can cause your suspension settings to wander (we found as much as 0.003” or .076mm of clearance in the hinge pin holes of a stock set of new A-arms). Not with RPM A-arms! Their hinge-pin holes are held to extremely strict tolerances, with no more than 0.0005” to 0.001” (.013 to .025mm) of clearance, an improvement of nearly 300%! RPM also uses in-line screws to retain the outer hinge pins while we ditch the inside retaining screws for shoulders in the hinge pin holes. This results in a weight reduction of 1.75 grams per A-arm (or 3.5 grams per pair) less than stock! Durability is also key to staying on-track! RPM customers have repeatedly reported that stock A-arms break easily. Whether bashing or racing, RPM A-arms are the toughest A-arms on the market so a rough landing or a hit from another competitor won’t take you out of the race! Read more…

RDRP Team Associated B64 Brass Suspension Mounts

RDRP Team Associated B64 Brass Suspension MountsRevolution Design Racing Products continues to roll out their line of B64 upgrades. The new RDRP Brass Suspension Mounts for the Team Associated B64 RC buggies are a direct replacement for the kit’s lightweight parts. They add valuable weight especially when running in high-traction conditions or when the track is getting bumpier. Machined from black-coated brass and sporting gold color chamfered edges the parts weigh in at 14g for the A LRC mount, 13g for the B LRC mount, 14g for the C mount and 15g for the D mount which shifts the weight bias further to the front or rear of the buggy, depending on the location of the brass hangers. Using the front A and B brass mounts will result in an easier to drive buggy while the rear C and D mounts add traction out of and rotation into corners. Using the brass suspension mounts all-round will add valuable weight when running on very bumpy and/or grippy tracks. All mounts were designed to work with the original #92014 arm mount inserts and they are best used in pairs at the front or the rear. Read more…

JConcepts TLR 8IGHT-E 4.0 S2 Body

JConcepts TLR 8IGHT-E 4.0 S2 Body Upgrade
It was time to turn the page on some design aspects and stylize the TLR 8ight-E 4.0 with a completely new design. The S2 design, originally made popular for the 1/10th off-road crowd, had a lot of influence over this design. In a chat with chief drivers JR Mitch, Tyler Jones and Reno Savoya, the S2 was suddenly born. Starting a project like this is not an easy task, the drivers are demanding. Make it “cool looking,” “more radical” and it needs to perform just as well as it looks is typically the feedback delivered to the design team during these projects. Set constraints require the body to clear certain fixed items in the chassis and allow the new features to guide and control the performance. The S2 is perhaps the lowest and most muscular JConcepts body ever produced. Read more…
