Tamiya Nissan R390 GT1 and Fighter Buggy SV

Tamiya Nissan R390 GT1 TT01Tamiya has been gearing up for the 52nd Annual All Japan Model and Hobby Show being held in Chiba, Japan next month. Along with their numerous scale models expected to be unveiled at the event, Tamiya is also planning on announcing a few new R/C cars and trucks as well. Not too long ago we posted a few of the new cars including a limited edition M06R, a new FF03 and a few TT01 touring cars. Today we got ahold of two more, a Nissan R390 GT1 race car replica based on the TT01 chassis and the new Fighter Buggy SV which is based on the DT02 off-road platform. Tamiya To Introduce Two New Touring Cars

Tamiya TRF417 3 and FF03 UpgradeAlong with the new M06R chassis we announced earlier, Tamiya is expected to introduce two new touring cars at the 52nd All Japan Hobby Show next month. The new cars include the Tamiya TRF-3 which is apparently the successor to Tamiya’s highly successful TRF417 race car as well as a second car Tamiya’s Japanese website refers to as the “FF03 Upgrade”. Although Tamiya hasn’t said much about this new version of the FF03 FWD chassis, it appears to have a new longitudinal IFS shock mounting position as well as a number of carbon fiber chassis parts. Tamiya Announces Limited Edition M-06R

Tamiya M-06R M06RTamiya just announced a number of new products expected to make their debut at the 52nd Annual All Japan Model and Hobby show next month. One of the more interesting items on that list is the car you see to the left, the Tamiya M-06R chassis. This limited edition M06 chassis features a number of red and silver anodized aluminum suspension and chassis upgrades. Tamiya Announces BMW M3 Sport and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo

Tamiya BMW M3 Sport Evo TT01Expanding on their ever growing line of radio control cars based on the TT-01 touring car platform, Tamiya America recently announced the new BMW M3 Sport Evo and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII. The BMW M3 Sport features a highly detailed body and decal sheet that allows you to replicate the Jagermeister sponsored touring car driven by Grand Prix motorcycle road racing champion Wayne Gardner during the 1992 DTM season. The Mitsubishi Lancer, on the other hand, replicates the seventh generation (2001-2003) variant of the Lancer Evo street car. The bodies are available in three forms, clear, semi-painted and pre-painted. The semi-painted version comes pre-painted with black, white and silver graphics and can be backed with any color polycarbonate paint to complete the look.
