Team Associated B4/T4 Lipo Combo
This afternoon Team Associated announced yet another way you can purchase their high popular B4.1 off-road buggy and T4.1 stadium truck. You may remember back in August we posted about Team Associated’s new B4/T4 NiMh combo packs. Much like those packages, this new combo features the ready to run brushless powered versions of these two vehicles except with one change, the NiMh battery pack and wall charger have been replaced with a more modern 3000mah Reedy Wolfpack lipo battery pack and Reedy 526-S Lipo charger/balancer. Sneak Peek: Kraken TSK True Scale Kit For HPI Baja
In its stock form the HPI Baja 5SC is one bad truck, but with the multitude of upgrades available for the vehicle it can be converted into something truly awesome. The guys over at Kraken RC are adding to the list of awesome add-ons for the Baja with their new True Scale Kit (TSK). The Kraken TSK converts your Baja into a bona fide Class 1 race buggy. The kit is expected to be released this November and will include a three piece molded roll cage, painted molded body panels, nylon window nets and installation hardware. The new JConcepts Scalpel body is designed to transform your Traxxas Slash 4×4 from a run of the mill short course truck to a salt flats speed demon! Looking straight into the headlights you can tell right away something is different about the Scalpel. A menacing look from the front-end highlighted by a dramatic chin-spoiler, the front-end is built for speed and direction. Large fenders allow plenty of clearance for the 2.8” G-Locs tires and the extremely low roof-line cuts like a knife. Pro-Line Tires Now Available In New Compounds
Pro-Line just announced that not only are they making a number of their off-road tires available in more compounds but they’re also reintroducing the improved MX Compound specifically designed for hot outdoor track conditions where extreme tire wear is an issue. According to Pro-Line the low elasticity found in the MX Compound provides a stable tire for high traction conditions while exhibiting high abrasion resistance for long wear. Pro-Line Bulldog Body For Associated B44.2
Well that didn’t take long. Less than a month since it’s introduction the guys over at Pro-Line have released a new body for the Team Associated B44.2 offroad buggy. Since the new B44.2 features a longer and narrower chassis than its predecessor, Pro-Line had to go back to the drawing board to create a new lid for it. That’s where 2012 ROAR National Champion, Ryan Cavalieri, comes into play. Ryan used his expertise on the track to help Pro-Line develop the new B44.2 Bulldog body, refining the design to create even more stability and enhanced steering characteristics. Read more…
