JConcepts RC10 Classic Wheels and Tires

Owners of the RC10 Classic have been asking for more tire choices for their re-released vintage buggy and JConcepts delivers with the new Rips and Double Dees tires! The new tires fit the era correct 1.9″ front wheels and 1.7″ rear wheels, while giving the RC10 more traction and better handling. Even better, JConcepts is also offering a matching set of Hazard style wheels for the RC10 in your choice of three colors.

The JConcepts Rips fit a classic style 1.9” sized wheel giving the buggy an era correct appearance in size and proportion. The high-traction tires are produced in JConcepts sticky green super soft compound and include open cell foam inserts for increased support. The Rips are modeled after the original kit front tires with a slightly rounded side-wall that progressively angles toward the top. The rounded edges of the Rips peak out and return to the base exposing the deep Ripped ribs which tile out as an evenly spaced 5-rib tire. The smooth and grippy feeling of the front tire is immediately felt on rough terrain and more specifically low grip, loose and wet conditions. The vintage inspired tire lettering, along with finely detailed, crisp, JConcepts ribs finish off an all out effort for vintage racing.

The JConcepts Double Dees, one of the most successful tires on the racing circuit has been remastered to fit the vintage size wheels. The Double Dees fit a classic style 1.7” sized wheel giving the buggy an era correct appearance in size and proportion. The high-traction tires are produced in JConcepts sticky green (Super Soft) compound and include And-1 open cell inserts for increased support. The bubbly sidewall and round profile tire carcass help cover various rough terrain and also grip the loose and wet conditions. The vintage inspired tire lettering, along with finely detailed, crisp, JConcepts tread finish off an all out effort for vintage racing.

The popular JConcepts Hazard style wheel is now available for the RC10 Classic. JConcepts has identified all the key points of the 1.9 and 1.7” diameter wheels and positioned them so racers can now have today’s style and flair built for the classic design. The base style of the Hazard revolves around the ROAR Short Course National Champion wheel design but this time designed to fit the legendary RC10 vehicle. The Hazard wheel is built in an extremely durable material with a powerful look that combines the winning combination of a 10 spoke design, bead-lock appearance and center lug nut detail with a hint of inspiration from the good-ole-days. The Hazard front wheel accepts the 3/16” x 5/16” flanged bearing or bushing found on the original and Classic RC10.

Wheel profile, interior and exterior ribbing and spoke design were all areas of focus while creating the combination of durability, clearance, functionality and appearance. Available in white, black and florescent yellow color and a matte face appearance, being unique is worry free as practically any paint scheme can be matched to these exciting new wheels. The hassle-free and lightweight 1-piece design creates the ultimate race and show wheel for any competition.
