Area RC recently announced the latest high performance upgrade for the Losi 5IVE-T 1/5 short course truck. Their new aluminum center diff housing replaces the stock plastic piece with one that is stronger and has better heat dissipation thanks to its 6061 T1 construction. The one piece design ensures tightness and concentricity while a wear resistant copper sleeve reduces frictional losses. Pro-Line Proton Off-Road Buggy Tires

New Pro-Line Pre-Mounted Wheel/Tire Combos
In their May 2013 releases, Pro-Line Racing announced four new tire/wheel combos including their Sling Shot short course truck tires pre-mounted on black Renegade wheels, Badland tires mounted on black Renegades, Road Rage 2.8″ tires on Desperados and Trencher X 3.8″ tires pre-mounted on black F-11 wheels. First Look: Tamiya Neo Scorcher TT02B
Check out the new Tamiya Neo Scorcher off-road buggy! While Tamiya has yet to release any solid information about the car, what we gather from the recently released photos is that it’s based on a conversion of the new TT02 touring car chassis dubbed the TT02B. To complete the conversion it appears numerous chassis parts were swapped out for buggy specific pieces including the shock towers, control arms, steering components, and most obviously, the body, wheels and tires. The TT02 friction shocks have also been replaced with a set of long travel oil filled units. Keep an eye out for these when they hit your hobby shop shelves this Summer! Read more…
Parma Rally Xtreme Body For Traxxas Rally
The fine folks over at Parma just announced a replacement body for the Traxxas Rally Racer announced late last year. Their aggressive new Rally Xtreme race body has airflow cutouts in the top of the front fenders and behind the rear wheel wells. It features a large rear wing that can also be cut out for even more airflow if desired. Not only is the Parma Rally Xtreme body a direct fit for the Traxxas Rally Racer but with a set of custom body posts it will also fit most 1/10 scale RC short course trucks! Read more…
