Believe it or not MIP made this crazy chain driven 4wd conversion for the Team Associated RC10 Gold Pan back in the 80s. As you can see in the picture, it featured a chain drive that would run from a custom rear transmission case, over the battery pack, through a tensioner, and to a front “gearbox”. From there the power would be transferred through a sprocket and down to a set of driveshafts. It may look like a simple conversion but switching the RC10 to a 4wd layout took quite a bit of engineering. Can you imagine what one of these would be worth today?
